DESCRIPTION:
EPW - Swiss minute repeater, slide activated operating on two gongs, 52mm, 18K original HC with gold cuvette bearing London import mark, case also having small Jurgensen lips on lids, SW-SS, WE-DSD. lever escapement, likely 16J, unsigned gilt mvt, s#39619 on case, ca 1913 per consignor's notes. Gross weight of assembled watch 60.7 dwt (94.4 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, good repeat function, excellent mvt condition overall, some small scratches, some typical surface FS and MFS; dial very near perfect with only short faint hairline above seconds-register; minute hand with rust to its tip, hands otherwise excellent to near mint; case shows very little wear, some spots of profuse MFS on lids, dent on band at 10 near hinge and some additional dings on band elsewhere, mild very shallow crease type dent to front lid causing small ripple in reflection, some small shallow dings elsewhere in outer lids causing small ripple in reflection; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
